Creador Labels

Creador labels are handmade from agave paper by Eric Ramirez in Villa de Etla, Oaxaca. Once the paper is made (a two-week process) Eric prints and his family hand cuts each label - front, back, and top seal. Due to the textured and porous nature of the agave paper, the printing process results in each label being unique. Each set of labels are applied by hand to the bottles.

The six agave spirit expressions by maestro palenquero José Alberto Pablo are packaged in six unique works of art by Austin, TX painter Camille Woods. Working from photos taken in and around José Alberto’s palenque in San Bernardo Mixtepec, Camille captures the images with her unique narrative style, each bottle telling its own story as a result.
